Why NØISE exists

Playing guitar should be simple. In reality it often means juggling multiple tools: a metronome, a tuner, backing tracks, chord charts, theory apps, effect apps. NØISE brings everything together — without making it complex.

NØISE is designed as an instrument, not a studio. You open the app and within seconds you are playing. No endless setup, no dense menus, no mandatory tutorials.

It thinks musically, not technically: start means entering the music with a count-in; stop means finishing a phrase with a natural lead-out. Feedback is subtle and supportive, never judgmental. Silence is allowed.

NØISE is made for beginners looking for structure, intermediate players building confidence, and guitarists who want to jam without a band. Professionals already have DAWs and studio tools — NØISE lives in the space between ideas: the daily practice and the creative moments.

NØISE exists to help you enjoy playing guitar — to inspire exploration, support growth, and keep you in flow.

How it was built

NØISE was two years in my head before it was a year in the making: evenings and weekends, one person, and the help of AI.

That last part deserves saying plainly, and saying what it did. Not the music, and not the decisions — the second pair of eyes a solo developer does not have. Every sentence the app says about a chord, a key or a groove was checked against the code that produces it. Each of its six languages was read twice over, by different people, before it shipped. That is work a team splits between colleagues.

It also meant building faster without building more carelessly: more tests, more second attempts at things that were nearly right, fewer corners cut because it was Sunday night.

The judgment is still one person's. If something here is wrong, it is wrong because I chose it — and I would rather hear about it than not.
