Terms of Service

These terms cover the NØISE website at https://noise-app.com — the documentation, the community song catalogue and the "notify me" list. They do not cover the NØISE app itself (Mac or iPad), which has no account, no login and no network dependency beyond a one-time asset download.

Using the site

You may browse, read the docs, download published songs and sign in to upload your own. Signing in uses a magic link sent to your e-mail address — no password is stored. You are responsible for anything uploaded from your account.

Your content

A song you upload is a chord chart: a structure of sections, chords, tempo and key — never audio, lyrics or melody. You keep copyright in what you upload. By publishing a song you grant WEAP a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and distribute it to other users of the catalogue, and you grant other users a licence to download it for personal use in the NØISE app. You can unpublish or delete your songs at any time from your account.

Content rules

Uploads must follow the content rules: chord charts only, nothing that infringes someone else's copyrighted lyrics, melody or recorded arrangement. We remove content that violates this and may act on repeat violations — see the notice & takedown page.

Moderation

Published songs are visible immediately. Anyone can report a song; reports are reviewed and a song can be hidden or removed pending review. Repeated confirmed violations from the same account can lead to a ban.

No warranty

The site and the catalogue are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. WEAP is not liable for content uploaded by users.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site grows; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
