Privacy

The NØISE app (Mac and iPad) has no login, no accounts and no tracking — this page is only about the website.

What we store

• Your e-mail address, to send a sign-in link and, if you use the "notify me" form, one launch e-mail
• A display name you choose, shown next to songs you publish
• Songs you upload, and your ratings and reports
• A hashed, salted copy of your IP address for up to 30 days, used only to rate-limit abuse — the hash rotates daily and cannot be reversed to the original address

What we don't do

No analytics, no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers. The only cookie is your session cookie, and it exists only while you're signed in.

Who else sees it

Our hosting provider and the mail service used to send sign-in links process data on our behalf, under their own security obligations. We do not sell or share data with anyone else.

Your rights

You can edit your display name and delete your songs at any time from your account. Deleting your account removes your profile and your songs. To request a copy of your data or ask a question, e-mail hello@noise-app.com.
