If a song in the catalogue infringes your rights, use the Report button on the song's page, or send a written notice to abuse@noise-app.com.

What to include

• Identification of the work you believe is infringed
• The URL of the song on this site
• A statement, made in good faith, that the use is not authorised
• Your contact information
• Your signature (a typed name is sufficient in an e-mail)

What happens next

1. We acknowledge a valid notice within 2 business days.
2. The song is hidden from the catalogue pending review.
3. The uploader is notified and may submit a counter-notice explaining why the content should stay up.
4. We resolve the report — restore or remove the song — within 14 days.
5. An account with three confirmed violations is banned from uploading.

A song reported three or more times for a copyright or lyrics/melody reason is hidden automatically pending review, even before we've read the reports — this limits exposure while a human looks at it.

Good faith

Reports are for real problems: infringing lyrics or melody, a copied arrangement, or content that otherwise breaks the content rules. Reports made in bad faith to silence a legitimate chord chart will be dismissed.
